Joining Fee

 

A once-only fee of $25

 

Annual Fee

 

$30 and $25 for subsequent adults in the same family

 

$25 Pension card holders, $15 second pensioner in family

 

$25 Country members & full-time students over 16 years

 

$10 Juniors

 

 

Workshop Charges

 

$2 per session

 

Use of slabbing saw         $1 per slab

 

Sale of goods on club premises, social meetings and annual exhibition  (10% to club)

 

 

 

 

Clubroom Hours

 

The W.G.C. clubrooms are open during the following hours

 

 

Workshop Sessions

 

Monday                   9.30AM  to  2.30PM

Thursday                 9.30AM  to  2.30PM

Friday                       9.30AM  to  2.30PM

Saturday                  9.30AM  to  2.30PM (1.30PM to 3.30PM for the Junior Group)

 

Potential new members are invited to visit the clubroom at any of the sessions above and inspect the facilities the club has

available.

 

 

Social Meetings

​

A social meeting is held the second Tuesday of each month, except January, at 8.00PM (7.30PM for the sales table).  We have other social occasions throughout the year such as a sausage sizzle, the club anniversary  and club presentation dinner.

​

Mineral Meetings

​

The mineral group meets the 4th Thursday each month (except December and January) at the clubrooms.  All welcome.

 

Open Workshop Session

 

The W.G.C. sometimes holds an "open day" on the Australia Day weekend when members of the public can view the activities of the club members at a normal workshop session.
